Space to Grow and Unwind
This family was ready to expand their everyday living space, creating room to relax, exercise, and give their teenager a place to call their own. The finished 1,200+ square foot basement features a spacious family room with designated workout space, offering flexibility for both downtime and activity.
A newly built hallway leads to a private bedroom, full bathroom, and accessible storage, creating a layout that feels intentional and complete. The result is a lower level designed to support every stage of family life.
Room for a Growing Family
What was once an outdated, closed-off basement became a fresh start for this large family. After clearing the space and removing unnecessary walls, we reimagined the entire 1,600 square feet to create openness and flow.
The finished basement now includes a generous family gathering area, a dedicated gym space, two bedrooms with spacious walk-in closets, and a full bathroom. Additional crawl space storage ensures functionality meets comfort, providing the extra room this family truly needed.
A Modern Entertainment Upgrade
This outdated basement was ready for new life. By removing the drop ceiling and opening up the layout, we created a brighter, more expansive main living area built for relaxation and entertainment.
The refreshed design features a large-screen TV framed with custom inlaid storage, an electric wall fireplace for warmth and ambiance, and granite windowsills that elevate the overall finish. The result is a refined entertainment space that feels both inviting and elevated. It’s a true transformation built for living well.
New Life to an Old Space
A space that went untouched for years was not what this homeowner wanted. A full demo and refinish to make it more inviting.
Every thing in the basement was removed including the wall paneling and tile ceiling. The basement was refinished with drywall, vinyl plank flooring, and an unfinished black ceiling. The bannisters of the staircase were redone giving a more elegant feel to them. A nook in the corner was set up with additional electrical for a dry bar. The space on the other side of the stairs is perfect for a gym area.
Pure Entertainment
A completely empty and unused space turned into a perfect spot for entertainment.
This layout creates a dedicated space for family time and an area for movies and gathering. The focus of this basement is a movie theater room enhanced with dark walls, ceiling, and sconce lighting. Included in the space is a fully finished wet bar with a granite countertop and room for a wine fridge. The countertop extends to allow for bar seating. The transition from carpet to hard floor brings space for a bar table or two for guests.
Drab and Dreary to Inviting
The original space was somewhat finished but was old and not done properly.
The space was fully demoed. New walls and flooring were put in to make a fresh space. The back area was closed off creating a perfect office space. A beautiful electric fireplace was installed to add warmth and ambiance. This new basement is now a favorite space for these homeowners.
